Springs on list of cities with fastest rent growth in past 5 years
The cost of rent continues to rise throughout the country, and it's increasing especially quick in Colorado Springs. A new report from Apartment List ranks cities based on which one had the highest rent increase in the past five years, and Colorado Springs comes in second place.

Pueblo Republican enters race for House District 47
A Republican challenger has announced his campaign for Colorado's House District 47. Puebloan Ron Parker is an Army veteran and retired Colorado Department of Corrections educator. Parker is challenging State Rep. Bri Buentello who won election in 2018 by a narrow 321 votes.

49ers advance to the Super Bowl after dominating the Packers
From the opening kickoff in Sunday's NFC title game, the San Francisco 49ers and running back Raheem Mostert pounded the Green Bay defense on the ground. The 49ers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, who advanced earlier in the day by defeating the Titans in the AFC title game.
