COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police have identified the victim in Monday’s deadly crash at Hancock Expressway and Union Blvd.
Police says 27-year-old Austin Palmer of Colorado Springs was speeding Southbound on Union Blvd. when he hit a curb, went off the road and rolled over. Palmer was ejected from the vehicle and died on scene. Police say he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
This is the 16th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year. At this time last year, there were also 16 traffic fatalities in the city.
