COLORADO SPRINGS – Police are investigating a shooting near the intersection of Fountain Boulevard and Circle Drive in Colorado Springs.
According to police, a woman called 911 around 11:30 p.m. Monday and said that she had been shot. When officers arrived, they found the victim. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance a short time later. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
Police told News5 they had the name of a potential suspect early Tuesday morning, and the two may have known each other.
Detectives from the Domestic Violence Assault Unit are now investigating.
