COLORADO SPRINGS – One person died after two people were ejected from a car in a crash Thursday afternoon on Barnes Road. It happened before 4 p.m. between Purcell and Powers.
Colorado Springs Police say a single car rolled over, ejecting the driver and passenger.
The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and the passenger died at the scene.
That stretch of Barnes Road is closed and CSPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is on the scene.
Drivers are urged to use an alternate route in that area.
