COLORADO SPRINGS – The Academy District 20 Board of Education announced Thursday Thomas Gregory as finalist for superintendent.

Gregory has served as Deputy Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer for the district since 2016.

Our cabinet, principals, administrators, teachers, staff, students and families will be served well by Mr. Gregory’s leadership.”

The Board, along with consultants Hazard, Young, and Attea, reviewed paperwork from 26 candidates from across the country and conducted extensive interviews, tours, and site visits.

The Board reviewed letters of recommendation and conducted thorough interviews with Gregory, and visited more than 46 individuals Gregory works with, or has worked with in the past.
