COLORADO SPRINGS – A man faces multiple charges after officers called to a burglary say he damaged multiple police cruisers.

Falcon officers were called to the burglary at 6300 Peak Vista. The person who called police said the suspect parked in their driveway and tried to get into the house.

The caller also said the suspect was entering other driveways.

When officers arrived they reported seeing the vehicle in the middle of the road, revving the engine and lurching forward. Officers said they stopped facing the vehicle and gave orders, but said the suspect, identified as Liam Anderson, drove around them, through a fence, and continued to drive away.

Another officer who arrived reported seeing the vehicle approach driving erratically, and positioned his cruiser in the road to block it.

Anderson stopped and was pinned by officers’ vehicles. Officers say he drove back and forth, making contact with the vehicles several times.

Officers eventually arrested Anderson on multiple charges. They say it appeared Anderson was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
