EL PASO COUNTY – An El Paso County man has admitted his role in the October death of a 20-year-old shot and killed in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood south of Colorado Springs.

Beslim Torres-Valle pleaded guilty Monday to Second Degree Murder for the death of the Kenyatta Horne.  He faces up to 46 years in prison when sentenced in August.

On Sunday, October 7th, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the 6400 block of Tranters Creek Way reporting multiple shots were fired and a male party was lying on the sidewalk.

The Sheriff’s Office said multiple units responded and found the male unconscious and not breathing. Deputies started life-saving efforts until medical personnel arrived. Medical personnel attempted to revive the victim but were unsuccessful.

In the weeks following the killing, authorities arrested Beslim Torres-Valle, Kyle Watts, Wayne TC Sellers, and Tyler Lee Wheeler. All were charged with first-degree murder.

According to court documents, the group planned on robbing drug dealers of their product and cash. As the four suspects approached Horne, there was a gunfight in which Horne fired several times as he was hit in the chest with shotgun blasts.
