COLORADO SPRINGS – Local filmmakers hope to get support from the community as they gear up for the premiere of “ Jurassic Thunder .”

The movie was made in Colorado Springs by local director Milko Davis, and 95% of the cast and crew are veterans and active duty military members.

On Saturday, May 4th, you can meet the cast and crew , and even the dinosaur star, at a fundraiser to help pay for a private screening of the movie. They’ll be at Cheers liquor store at 1105 North Circle, along with the Heavenly Dogs food truck.

That money will be used to rent out a movie theater at AMC Chapel Hills for a private screening of “Jurassic Thunder” at 7 p.m. June 12.

The movie will premiere at the 20th Anniversary for Blissfest at Alamo Draft House in Denver on August 24.
