COLORADO SPRINGS – Amazon Logistics announced Wednesday it will open its fourth Colorado Delivery Station in Colorado Springs.

The new station will allow Amazon’s last-mile delivery capabilities to speed up deliveries for customers in the surrounding area. It will also create hundreds of work opportunities for small businesses and independent contractors.

Amazon said the service will allow small businesses the opportunity to deliver for Amazon. The company said it also allows independent contractors the flexibility to be their own boss, create their own schedule and make $18 to $25 per hour delivering for Amazon. For more information, you can head to Amazon’s website.

The delivery station is expected to open sometime this year. Amazon did not announce its location.
