COLORADO SPRINGS – A man told police someone shot at him early Thursday morning in the Old Colorado City area.
Police said officers were on an unrelated call for service when they heard multiple gunshots coming from an apartment complex near the intersection of W. Pikes Peak Avenue and 31st Street.
Officers responded to the area and couldn’t find any suspects or victims. However, authorities received a call from a nearby convenience store from a man who said someone shot at him.
The man wasn’t hurt. It’s not clear if the victim or possible suspect knew each other.
Police found a “shooting scene” at the parking lot outside of the complex. No suspect information has been released at this time.
