PUEBLO COUNTY – The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection with the April 10th robbery of the Dollar General store in Blende.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, detectives arrested 21-year-old Christopher Flowers at a local hotel after finding him sitting in a reported stolen vehicle. Detectives had already identified him as the individual who robbed the Dollar General at gunpoint.

The Sheriff’s Office said additional felony charges are pending against Flowers related to the stolen vehicle, as well as a stolen firearm that was found in his possession.

21-year-old Lyte Duran was also arrested for conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery in connection with the Dollar General incident. She was with Flowers when he was apprehended.

“I commend our detectives for the work they did in quickly identifying and locating this dangerous individual,” said Sheriff Kirk M. Taylor. “Their police work along with solid tips from the public led to the swift capture of this individual.”

The Sheriff’s Office said Flowers is being investigated as a possible suspect in similar armed robberies in the City of Pueblo.
