Blizzard warning issued for Northern El Paso County

COLORADO – The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Northern El Paso County, Monument Ridge, and Rampart Range below 7,500 feet.

The warning is in effect starting at noon Wednesday until noon on Thursday.

A winter storm warning is also in effect for Teller County and the Pikes Peak Region between 7,500 and 11,000 feet.

News5 meteorologists are forecasting that southern Colorado is going to see rain turn to snow with very strong winds and blizzard-like, whiteout conditions from Wednesday afternoon to early Thursday morning.
