BOULDER COUNTY – The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office reports that the mandatory evacuation will remain in place overnight, but progress is being made on the fire.
So far, the blaze has burned about 15 acres in rugged terrain. The fire is about 10 miles southwest of Lyons along State Highway 7.
The Sheriff’s Office said the fire is 75 percent contained.
At this point, there are no reports of structures burned or any injuries.
The fire sparked Monday afternoon. The cause is currently under investigation.
