Man wanted for murder in Colorado Springs found in Mexico, extradited back to Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS – On March 12th, the United States Marshals Service located Edwin Figueroa in Mexico and coordinated his arrest with local officials, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Figueroa was wanted for First Degree Murder in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Ervey Enriquez on January 12th, 2019 in the 400 block of South Circle Drive.

According to CSPD, the Marshals Service escorted Figueroa back to the US where he was held at the Los Angeles County Jail. On March 28th, he was extradited back to Colorado and booked in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center, where remains in custody.
