UPDATE: Late Sunday afternoon, the Baca County Sheriff’s Office reported that Mason was taken into custody without incident.
BACA COUNTY – The Baca County Sheriff’s Office has obtained an arrest warrant for Harley White Mason.
The Sheriff’s Office said the warrant is for two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offenders.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Mason frequents Campo, Pritchett, Springfield, and Lamar Colorado.
Anyone that see’s Mason or knows of his whereabouts is asked to notify local law enforcement immediately.
The Sheriff’s Office said Mason should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
In their Facebook Post about Mason, the Baca County Sheriff’s Office included the following disclaimer: ** The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.**
