COLORADO SPRINGS – Some call it the car show of the future.

Saturday, electric vehicle owners, local businesses, and community groups gathered at Palmer High School to talk about the benefits of driving electric.

Environment Colorado hosted the event to show off the latest in electric cars and bikes and also to highlight the future of transportation.

“Overall, there is statewide support for electric transportation and people throughout the state are mobilized and ready for change in Colorado,” said Kelsey Maxwell of Environment Colorado.

Environment Colorado is hosting similar events across the state. One is planned for Fort Collins in two weeks.
