PUEBLO COUNTY – Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened Wednesday afternoon on the west side of Pueblo.
According to State Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Pueblo Blvd. near Spaulding Ave.
State Patrol said 69-year-old Betty Stockman of Pueblo West was killed in the crash. She was wearing her seatbelt, but still suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
35-year-old Zachariah Tafoya of Pueblo suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, neither alcohol or drug use is suspected as a contributing factor in the crash, according to State Patrol.
