LAKEWOOD – A Colorado State Patrol Trooper is injured after he was struck by a car while he was investigating another accident on Wadsworth Blvd. at Highway 285. Highway 285 is also known as Hampden Avenue on Friday afternoon.
The trooper is currently being treated at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, where the State Patrol says he is listed in moderate condition. Officials say the trooper is expected to be okay and may possibly be released later on tonight.
