COLORADO SPRINGS – An amazing rescue happened in Colorado Springs Wednesday night.
CSPD reports that a group of good samaritans lifted an SUV off the head of a woman who was partially ejected after crashing her vehicle at Carefree Circle and Scenic Circle.
Police said the 28-year-old woman is stable at a local hospital. She was reportedly speeding and under the influence of alcohol when she struck a curb, rolled, and hit another vehicle.
CSPD said they plan to honor the six good samaritans at a later date.
