COLORADO – The re-trial is underway for Noe Gamez-Ruiz.
Ruiz has pleaded not guilty to criminally negligent homicide, careless driving, and careless driving resulting in death.
He is accused of hitting and killing Colorado State Trooper Cody Donahue on the side of I-25 near Castle Rocke in 2016.
This trial is expected to last eight days.
