COLORADO SPRINGS – Northeast Colorado Springs now has a new emergency department to help serve a growing part of town.
Penrose St. Francis North unveiled its new ER Monday.
Highlights of the new facility include large open processing areas, lots of natural light, and a mental health treatment area.
“It’s built to meet where we’ve grown over the last 10 years, and then some, for sure, so don’t expect to have to expand on this emergency department any time soon,” said Dr. Brian Erling, President and CEO.
