PUEBLO – Most of their time on the job is spent booking criminals, but Wednesday, Pueblo Police officers spent their day reading kids their rights to knowledge.
In order to improve student literacy, Pueblo PD had a free book fair at Parkview Elementary.
Close to 300 students and teachers received books.
Pueblo PD said all the books were brand new and donated by Barnes and Noble.
