COLORADO SPRINGS – Fire crews in Colorado Springs were in the process of evacuating homes in the area of Michigan Ave. and Kenwood Circle when a team was able to knock down most of the flames.
The house caught fire just after 1 p.m. and threatened to spread to neighboring houses.
Colorado Springs Police have closed off Michigan Avenue to allow fire crews room to work. Please seek an alternate route.
We have a crew on scene getting more information for you. It’s not known if anyone was home at the time or a possible cause of the fire.
