COLORADO SPRINGS – Police are looking for a white full-size truck driven by a white man with a beard and tattoos after three kids called the police on Friday.

The kids, aged 12, 10 and 8, were walking home from school in the area of Parkview Boulevard and Sirius Drive on the city’s west side.

The children told police the man said he knew the kid’s parents and asked if they wanted a ride home. All three walked away from the truck.

According to the kids, the truck drove by a second time and they ran home. The man may have been wearing a white t-shirt and had piercings.

Neighbors told News 5 the suspicious activity is out-of-character for the neighborhood.

“Yeah, I mean that’s obviously concerning. Like I said, the whole time we’ve been here, we haven’t had any issues such as that, and that’s obviously something that is a problem,” said Gary Mosculak, who lives nearby.
