SAGUACHE COUNTY – A man suspected of trying to hit a Saguache County deputy with a stolen car was arrested Tuesday following a high-speed chase.
The Saguache County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report about an armed man who stole a car out of Villa Grove around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Shortly after that, a deputy spotted the car and that’s when they said the suspect tried to hit the deputy’s cruiser. He then led deputies on a chase with speeds higher than 100 MPH before he crashed into a fence in the KV Estates.
The suspect was arrested without further incident. His identity has not yet been released.
