COLORADO SPRINGS – Minority small business owners got together in Colorado Springs Tuesday to share their tricks of the trade.
It was a aprt of the Minority Business Enterprise and Diversity Summit.A goal of the summit is to educate minority owners on ways to get government contracts and operating capital.
“We have from the retail to construction, transportation companies,” said Rosy McDonough with the Minority Business Office. “We have some technology companies, we have a lot of maintenance, managerial.”
A recent Denver area study showed that businesses practicing inclusion and diversity are stronger for the local economic development.
