Pueblo- Folks in Pueblo have more options tonight when it comes to health care.

Kaiser Permanente held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday for it’s second Pueblo location. The center, which will open to Kaiser Permanente members on February 5th, will provide primary care, some specialty care, laboratory, pharmacy and some routine medical imaging services, all under one roof.

Its called the Pueblo South Medical Center and will be located at the intersection of Pueblo Boulevard and Acero Avenue. This will be the fourth medical facility in Southern Colorado for Kaiser. Kaiser Permanente’s executive director of operations, Holly Kortum, says “we wanted to bring a new medical office building to the Pueblo community and this location was ideal to provide another access point for our members in the south-central part of the community.”

The new facility will employ approximately six health care professionals, including two to three physicians, nurses, technicians and administrative staff.
