COLORADO SPRINGS – The woman accused of running a drug operation in an unlicensed daycare is scheduled for court hearings this week.

27-year-old Anna Brimm was first arrested last summer after Colorado Springs Police Department made a welfare check when worried parents could not reach the babysitter to pick up their 2-year-old inside what they were under the impression was ‘Tiny Toes’ daycare, run by a woman named Sarah Richmond.

Once the woman’s true identity was revealed as Anna Brimm, police discovered she had several outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants for her arrest.

On Tuesday, Brimm is set to appear in El Paso County Court for a review hearing and Wednesday for a pre-trial conference.

In August 2018, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Brimm after she skipped her court appearance.

Brimm is charged with 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Child Abuse, Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Weapons by Previous Offender, Special Offender Drugs, and Criminal Possession of a Financial Device.
