PUEBLO COUNTY – A crash on Highway 78 closed the road in both directions between Pueblo and Beulah Monday afternoon.
The accident happened sometime after 3 p.m. near Boggs Flat Road in Pueblo County.
A News 5 photographer on scene reported that The Pueblo Metro Bomb Squad had been called out to the accident. He said they appeared to be checking out one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
Shortly after 5 p.m., News 5 learned that a suspicious device had been located in a vehicle involved in the accident. After investigating, authorities determined the suspicious device was simply a water filtration device and cleared the scene.
