Women’s Marches scheduled in Colorado

COLORADO- Thousands are expected to show up at events throughout the state on Saturday for ‘Women’s Marches’.

The event started in 2017, after President Donald Trump’s election.

Organizers outline the primary areas of their cause as basic women’s rights and safety.

According to the events website, additional areas include: LGBTQIA rights, Environmental Justice, and Immigrant Rights.

Events are scheduled locally in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Pueblo’s event starts at noon at the Pueblo County Courthouse, Colorado Springs’ event begins at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall.

Hundreds are also expected at an event in Denver beginning at Civic Center Park at 10 a.m.

This event comes one day after another rally in Washington D.C.  the ‘March for Life’ event, which advocates for pro-life policy.
