COLORADO SPRINGS- School Choice Week is a chance for parents to explore all available options for their kids.
In Colorado, students can transfer schools if the school has space and the child has transportation.
This is your chance to take a tour and see what’s available.
“It’s really important to investigate where your child is going to thrive, and sometimes that’s not always in your neighborhood school. Sometimes there’s an opportunity across town, or just up the road a ways past your neighborhood school. It really just depends on what your child is interested in,” Devra Ashby with District 11 said.
There will be a parent choice day Friday Jan. 25 at the Space Discovery Center from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Springs. It’s open to all local school districts.
