COLORADO SPRINGS – The newest Chick-fil-A restaurant in Colorado Springs is officially open for business Wednesday morning.

The new location opened its doors at 6 a.m. Wednesday. The new location is at 5905 Dublin Blvd., which is on the southeast side of the intersection of Powers and Dublin.

The restaurant hosted a “first 100 campout” party to celebrate the restaurant’s opening. Those who participated received a total of 52 Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich meals over the course of a year.

Chick-fil-A said the new location is 5,300 square feet and it will feature a drive-thru lane that can handle 200 cars per hour.

The new restaurant is the eighth location in the Colorado Springs area. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
