Kelsey Berreth case: CBI makes request to search landfill

FOUNTAIN – There is new information in the case of missing Woodland Park mother Kelsey Berreth.

News 5 has confirmed from Waste Management of Colorado that the Colorado Bureau of Investigation has made a request to search the Midway Landfill between Colorado Springs and Pueblo for evidence.

Spokeswoman Vicki Gomes told News 5 the search has not taken place yet, but the company is cooperating.

The CBI and the District Attorney’s Office have not made a comment.

Berreth’s body has still not been found. Her fiance Patrick Frazee has been charged with her murder.
