COLORADO SPRINGS- More than 100 people gathered outside of Club La Casota Saturday evening to remember a 17-year-old boy shot and killed outside the club hours earlier Saturday morning.
Family and friends of Ervey Enriquez remembered the boy, with candles and balloons.
According to a family friend, Enriquez’s 18th birthday was next month.
Colorado Springs police say the shooting happened outside of the nightclub around 1:00 Saturday morning.
The man police believe shot and killed Enriquez has not been arrested, and the search for him continues Sunday morning.
After an hours-long search at a home in East Colorado Springs, police determined 226-year-old Edwin Figueroa was not inside.
