Summit Co. Sheriff’s Office looking for hit and run skiers

Posted

SUMMIT COUNTY – The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a father and son accused of a hit and run on a ski slope.

The incident happened Saturday on Reverie Ski Run on peak six at Breckenridge.

The father and son were skiing when the son allegedly hit the victim, who then hit a tree.

The father and son reportedly took off after the collision, which is against the skier safety act.

The skier safety act requires all skiers or snowboarders involved in an injury collision to stop and wait for ski patrol before leaving.
