COLORADO SPRINGS – Police announce an arrest for the homicide of a woman found dead from traumatic injuries in a field west of the 3700 block of Astrozon Blvd back in November.

While the coroner has completed an autopsy, specific details on how Wilde died have not been released.  News5 will likely learn more following Cruz-Quinones first court appearance, when court documents will be available.

The classification of a homicide adds to the unfortunate toll of 2018 as 38 cases were investigated. The prior record for the city was 32 cases in 2017, according to CSPD.
