COLORADO SPRINGS – While we didn’t get a ton of snow, we got just enough to make the roads a bit slick in spots this morning.
The lanes on the highways are mostly clear with a small amount of snow in between the lanes. Plows have been out all night long working on the highways, main thoroughfares and some secondary routes. Most of the side streets are going to be snowpacked and icy early.
Colorado Springs and Fountain are on Accident Alert this morning. If you’re involved in a minor accident, no one is injured, drugs or alcohol isn’t suspected, and it doesn’t involve city property, you can go ahead and file a report online or in person.
