Children’s Hospital Colorado wraps tiniest patients in ribbons and bows

Posted

AURORA – Families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospital Colorado are celebrating the holidays with their tiny “presents.”

This year, the patients were wrapped up by nurses who are part of the Sunshine Committee, the hospital said.

The Sunshine Committee is made up of nurses and clinical assistants, “whose goal is to spread sunshine by doing things to help families celebrate their baby, no matter how sick they are.”

Pictures of some of the little ones spending this Christmas at the Children’s Hospital NICU can be seen below. Enjoy!
