LAKEWOOD –  Jack Phillips, the owner of Lakewood’s Masterpiece Cakeshop is back in a federal courtroom on Tuesday.

Phillips is looking for an injunction against state officials connected to more accusations of discrimination. The latest round involves a potential customer who wanted a cake made which celebrated a gender transition. Phillips refused on the grounds that it was against his religious beliefs.

He says he’s being harassed and being unfairly targeted. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in his favor earlier this year over his refusal to design a cake for a same-sex wedding.
