CLEAR CREEK Co. — CDOT crews are working today on avalanche mitigation along US 6 at Loveland Pass after an avalanche late Wednesday closed the roadway.
The pass was closed overnight due to the danger, and to allow crews to clean up the snow in the daylight hours. Today traffic is being allowed through at the top of each hour.
According to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, avalanche danger is moderate to considerable in the high country west of Denver.
