COLORADO SPRINGS – The northbound lanes of northbound Academy Blvd. are completely closed at Airport Rd. after a semi truck was involved in a crash.
Fire crews and a hazardous materials team is currently working to clean a large fuel spill from the truck. The lanes expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
Plan on taking an alternate route and expect extensive delays in the area. A detour is setup from northbound Academy to eastbound or westbound Airport Rd.
