PUEBLO – The Pueblo police were called by numerous people after several shots were fired at Illinois and Cedar a little before 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

When officers arrived, people were running and screaming and many cars were trying to flee from the area. Police say they did pull over one of the cars trying to leave the neighborhood.

The investigation showed the incident began with a domestic dispute between the suspect and his girlfriend. When the victims tried to check on her, the suspect assaulted them. The suspect is looking at charges of 2nd Degree assault, felony menacing and Domestic Violence charges.
