COLORADO SPRINGS – One of the suspects in the brutal double murder of two Coronado High School students has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

The District Attorney said Diego Chacon admitted in court Monday to shooting and killing Natalie Cano-Partida and Derek Greer.

Cano-Partida and Greer were driven from a house party in Colorado Springs to Old Pueblo Rd. and shot execution style in March of 2017.

Chacon faces 65 years in prison when he is formally sentenced in January. Chacon’s accomplice, Marco Garcia-Bravo also faces murder charges in this case.
