Law enforcement warns as we get closer to the holiday season, pickpockets are already starting to prey on
innocent victims.

In one of the most recent cases investigators say a 71-year-old female victim was shopping at TJ Maxx on Bloomington Street in Colorado Springs when two unknown males approached her and started a conversation about a laundry basket. The victim, distracted by one of the men, had her wallet removed from
her purse by a second suspect. The men finished the conversation and later allegedly charged over
$2,500 on her stolen credit cards.
