Inside Parkview hospital’s latest improvements

PUEBLO — Parkview Medical Center continues its master plan to improve its facility and improve wait times at the city’s largest hospital.

The hospital gave a tour inside the new diagnostic imaging and radiology floor that should be fully operational by the beginning of next month. The hospital says moving these operations to a new floor will provide more space for emergency care.  Staff say their goal is to handle more patients while limiting wait and response times.

These changes are all part of Parkview’s 5 year master plan to accommodate the increase in patients coming to the hospital since St. Mary Corwin Medical hospital began downsizing and limiting services earlier this year.
