DENVER – The Denver Police are on the scene of a shooting in downtown Denver where one person is dead and four others were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The shooting happened just after 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of 21st and Lawrence streets in LoDo.
Several roads in the downtown are closed down right while officers investigate the shooting. DPD says it’s unknown if there was more than one gunman. There is no suspect information available at this time. A police spokesperson says they are working to speak with witnesses and gather surveillance video from the area.
