Opening day is here for Vail mountain! Early bird skiers were met with free breakfast burritos and hot chocolate, while supplies lasted. Lifts started spinning at 9 am and will continue running till close at 4 pm.

- Born Free Express Lift (#8)
- Avanti Express (#2)
- Wildwood Express Lift (#3)
- Mountain Top Express Lift (#4)
- Little Eagle Lift (#15)
Winter Park also opens today, with lifts running since 9 am. The Arrow Lift will spin all day, closing down at 4 pm. Miles, the Denver Broncos Mascot, will be on the slopes skiing and cheering on fellow riders.
Several more ski areas are set to open this weekend. Monarch and Copper mountain will both open this Friday. Lifts at both Monarch and Copper will start turning at 9 am.
Beaver Creek will open this Saturday, November 17th, four days ahead of schedule.
