ROCKY FORD – Students and staff were evacuated from the Rocky Ford Junior Senior High School Tuesday afternoon after the district received a threat that there was an explosive device at the school.
No students and staff were hurt, and all students were moved to the Gobin building, where they were released at 4 p.m.
Law enforcement is investigating the threat. The district tells News 5 that streets surrounding the school are closed while they investigate the threat.
A district spokesperson told News 5 there is no information about whether the threat was credible.
