Former paraprofessional educator and cheer coach accused of sex assault on a child

COLORADO SPRINGS – Police have arrested a man who previously worked as a paraprofessional educator, a cheer coach, and a security guard at several schools on charges of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and delinquency of a minor.

30-year-old Keean Davis was arrested Tuesday by detectives with the Colorado Springs Crimes Against Children Unit. According to police, someone came forward with information on Monday about Davis allegedly giving a minor narcotics and committing sexual assault.

Online court records show Davis is back in jail on Friday night, after posting bail for a $20,000 bond initially.

Detectives have already gathered information about other possible victims in this investigation. Davis reportedly worked with minors in Colorado Springs and the Denver-metro area.

District 49 confirms Davis worked at Sand Creek High School and the Kid’s Corner Site at Woodmen Hills Elementary from January 2017 to May 2018.
