EL PASO COUNTY – An investigator with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information on a woman accused of taking a wallet from an unlocked car and using the victim’s debit card.

The victim’s car was left unlocked on the 6300 block of Zermatt Drive on Wednesday morning.  That’s in a Cimarron Hills neighborhood east of Constitution Ave. and Powers Blvd.

The deputy handling the case was able to identify a possible suspect based on surveillance video from a Kum N Go.

A woman with a thin build, dark hair swept into a bun, and wearing a grey hoodie used the victim’s card twice at the store. She was last seen leaving the parking lot in a purple of dark blue sedan.

If you have any information please call Deputy Jennifer Knutson via email JenniferKnutson@elpasoco.com or by calling the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 719-390-5555.
